Negotiation workshop for Postdocs

How to communicate successfully even in difficult situations and come to an agreement with (almost) everyone

Sharing suggestions, formulating criticism, taking a position, agreeing on a course of action... teamwork involves all of these situations every day.

What if your ideas, thoughts and views were better received? It's clear: If you can master these situations communicatively, you are guaranteed to have more success and, above all, fun – at work and in your private life.

The workshop gives you tried and tested tools: You will learn how to reach agreement with almost anyone in just five simple steps, even in difficult situations. No matter whether you want to convince your superior of an idea, distribute tasks in the research group or discuss vacation plans with friends.

• To reflect on personal communication patterns
• To train listening skills
• To explore different negotiation principles and strategies
• To learn steps and easy-to-use tools for negotiating and achieving agreement To train skillful negotiation in a scientific team so that the outcome will be favorable to them and their negotiation partner
